MAKING THE COVER // February 2011

I haven't done a MAKING THE COVER post in forever. Mainly because I've been uninspired to do one. But when I saw this Vogue Turkey cover of Paris Hilton, with the shades I just ordered on, I couldn't resist to post.

VS Model, Adriana Lima for Vogue Brazil

VS Model, Alessandra Ambrosio for Harper's Bazaar Spain

Designer Tom Ford for Interview Magazine (he is my fashion fairy godmother!)

Diane Kruger for Glamour Magazine France (and is that a knockoff Karl, LOL)

L'Officiel Magazine

(I have to start buying these because I'm in love with their cover selections)

And THE BEST COVER goes to ... hmmm I am torn between Paris and Tom, what do you think?

The Devil Wears Anna [a Dragtasically Clever Editorial]

Luis Venegas, editor and publisher of the world’s self-proclaimed first “transversal style magazine” Candy, created a brilliant and really hilarious editorial - The Devil Wears Anna.

Luis and an uber cute model/DJ/musician, Andrès Borque, hone on their drag skills and impersonate Vogue editors, Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington. In the editorial you can also find the pair dragged out as Vogue Italia editor Franca Sozzani and teen blogger Tavi Gevinson. Genius! Why didn't I think of this? Only 1,000 copies of this October 2010 edition were printed but I have a sneaky feeling this might raise a few eyebrows and get Candy Magazine a few new readers.

What do you think? Should Anna and Grace be offended or is this all in the name of good ole fashion and creativity?
