Some will argue and say it's ruining our little girls and shaping them into grown women all too fast. I am particially biased because I don't have a little girl to raise although it is bothersome when I see "little Mandy" in the nail salon with her mom. But then I think well perhaps she's a straight A student and this is her reward, or maybe just maybe her mom is teaching her the proper ways to groom herself. I remember the days when parents actually talked to their children instead of allowing music videos and magazines to alter their common sense and views on what's right and wrong.
I believe that the most beautiful and inspiring aspect of fashion is fantasy. Fantasy and luxury often times go hand in hand. No I cannot afford those thousand dollar Louboutins, or that new Victoria Beckham handbag, or even a Birkin bag - but isn't that what keeps us striving for better. The notion that we can dream of having nice luxury things, and living in the big house, or just having no financial worries. That's what this spread says to me. Sure you may see a little spoiled bratty kid playing in her mom's things but what if that spoiled brat also had manners, was well educated, and still watched cartoons.

Back in September 2010, Tom Ford invited a select few editors and trend-setters to his Madison Avenue boutique for a secret preview of his womenswear relaunch. Us mere fans had NO idea this show was taking place until after those "select" editors took to the social networks for bragging rights.
According to Fashionologie, Tom selected "women who inspired him" to walk the catwalk including models Du Juan, Liu Wen, Karlie Kloss, Lakshmi Menon, Abbey Lee Kershaw, current Tom Ford eyewear face Freja Beha Erichsen, Anja Rubik, Daria Werbowy, Karen Elson, Natalia Vodianova, Liya Kebede, Stella Tennant, Chanel Iman, Amber Valletta, past Tom Ford eyewear face Carolyn Murphy, Monika "Jac" Jagaciak, Lauren Hutton, and Joan Smalls. In addition to the models, he also added fashion icons like Beyonce, Julianne Moore, and Rita Wilson for extra awesomeness!
No other photographers were allowed in besides Terry Richardson. Thank God for Youtube. Finally the video has been released.

Everyone is posting Tom Ford's latest imagery - SS2011 Ad Campaign featuring model Abbey Lee Kershaw. Rightfully so! It's amazing. I am still unsure as to whether or not it was shot by Tom Ford, but one thing is for certain, it's HAUTE!
In the ad campaign he uses a piece from his new womenswear collection, I CANNOT WAIT. Tom Ford is brilliant! And that's all I have to say about that. Check back later in the week as I am still searching for the video of the show from his new collection.
