The series stars Lance Gross (Our Family Wedding, "House of Payne"), Faune Chambers (Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Bryce Wilson (Beauty Shop), veteran actress Debbie Allen and introduces Asha Kamali. Also newcomers Yaani King, Shauntay Hinton, Charles Divins, and Rob Smith.
The "Milk + Honey" scripted series is looking to get picked up by a TV network. HERE'S THE STORYLINE: Nia, an aspiring actress on a quest to climb the Hollywood social ladder, tries to remain faithful through it all. Harper, the classic Black American Princess, shakes things up in the agency world. Samirah, an Ivy league educated free spirit and DJ, wants nothing to do with "the life." Conversely, Farrah, a socialite wild child siren and heiress, is constantly looking for love and acceptance on the scene. The fifth character is the Los Angeles landscape--its culture, music and fashion.

When I started blogging I never imagined I would be in the company of such humble great bloggers. Truth is they are everywhere and not even hard to find. A lot of my days I spend blogsurfin for new bloggers or bloggers my readers say I should be following. Often times I stumble upon a great one.
Grit & Glamour is a fashion and lifestyle blog by Vahni Georgoulakos (say that 3 times real fast). But everyone knows her as V. She writes with wit and prides herself with honesty. I find myself getting tons of blogger tips from her blog. I love reading her personal style posts because she's not a size "double negative". It gives me hope for a good style post of my own.
If you've never heard of V I highly recommend spending an hour or so on her site - you need to catch up!

Sandra Bullock in Jenny Packham Spring 2011 Collection
The blogs have spoken and most say that Sandra looked uber dreadful at last nights 2011 Golden Globes. Although I may agree with them (especially about the hair) I fell in love with Jenny Packham last season.
I have a feeling that this designer will get some bad reviews based on how it was styled so I wanna show you why I love Jenny Packham.
Here's the runway view of the dress. I remember sitting in the front row (thanks to many who did not awake in time for the 9am show) thinking this is beautiful. I definitely would have pulled Sandra's hair up into a messy bun and brighten her look a bit with a bold lip and heavy smoked out eyes. But they didn't call me?!
